2025 marks a year of momentum, as six years of intentional groundwork began to take visible shape. After a period of recalibration in 2024, the Village returned with clarity, stepping more fully into itself as a living ecosystem of feminist practice. Throughout the year, women and girls gathered, connected, and organized through Tukul Nuswan, Feminist Talking Circles, and convenings that wove together generations, stories, and shared visions of change. At the same time, our voices traveled further. Gender Talk 211 moved onto national television, bringing women’s leadership into public space, while our research on technology-facilitated gender-based violence opened new conversations about digital safety and justice. These shifts unfolded alongside cultural work, regional feminist engagement, and partnerships that continue to affirm the long work of building something rooted and enduring. This is a year that rises from what has been patiently built, an unfolding of the Village into form, purpose, and possibility. We invite you to read the full report and witness how what has been patiently built is now gathering momentum.
