What does technology-facilitated gender-based violence look like in South Sudan, and what happens when women and girls seek help? Drawing on research across seven states and one administrative area, this report examines experiences of online abuse, its effects on safety and participation in digital spaces, and the barriers to reporting and response. It brings together women’s and girls’ experiences with the perspectives of institutions responsible for digital safety and GBV response, and offers recommendations for stronger prevention, accountability, and survivor-centered support.
